The juried exhibition «Heimspiel» (home match) which takes place every three years has become an important platform for the creation of regional art within the cantons of St. Gallen, Thurgau, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Appenzell Innerrhoden, the Principality of Liechtenstein and this time again Vorarlberg and receives much attention beyond the region’s borders. Also in 2012 two heterogeneous exhibitions at the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen and the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen will reflect the region’s contemporary art scene.
